Description
A stunning little jewellery box made from Walnut and retaining the original thick beveled glass to the front.The slightly domed top has a brass mounted handle to the centre. Once the lid is opened the original tufted silk inside the lid is revealed; the fixed tray has been professionally re-finished perfectly to co-ordinate.
The front falls forward allowing access to the three drawers inside all with polished brass handles and retaining the original silk lined interiors.
Complete with a working lock and key, this exceptional example remains in superb condition ready for use. Victorian in era, c.1890/1900. The footprint measures 7 1/4" x 5 1/4" and stands 8" tall to top of handle back-plate.
