Description

As good as they get and rarely seen in such a lovely condition. Made from Papier Mache, lacquered, the front is beautifully decorated with gilding and hand painted including tiny jewels of red and blue enamelling.
The centre of the front is inlaid with a shaped Mother of Pearl vacant cartouche. The hinge and catch are in lovely working order.
Dating to around 1870, it remains as seen, in lovely condition. 4 1/4" x 3".
