Description

A handsome late Victorian / Edwardian jewellery box, perfect for either a lady or gentleman.
The box is covered in a rich cognac coloured Crocodile skin with a good glossy patina and the lid topped with stitched handle.
The box opens to reveal two top-quality hinges. The top has a removable tray, all retaining the original silk and velvet lining.
The front has a brass lock with a "squeeze" catch to open the box. Complete withe a working key, it remains in excellent condition, tiny skin corner loss and wear to back corner, shown and mentioned for accuracy. 8 1/2" x 6" x 4" tall.
