Description

A handsome little lectern or book rest, made from solid English Oak with a pierced and engraved polished brass decorative plate to the centre,
The back reveals a folding easel stand with a chain to keep secure once in use.
Late Victorian in era, it dates to c.1890 and remains in excellent condition. The front measures 10 1/4" x 8" x 1 3/4" deep. The book used for photography measures 6 1/2" x 4 3/4" to give an idea of scale.
