A fine example of an English sterling silver tea caddy, beautifully shaped and standing on four exquisite legs.
The top is crowned with a folding finial with two matching hinged handles to the side. The hinged lid fits perfectly and once opened reveals the lavish original gilded interior.
The underside is where the full English hallmark can be found for Birmingham 1906, Edwardian in era. The makers initials are also present for the top-notch silversmith, Cornelius Desormeaux Saunders & James Francis Hollings.
Excellent condition standing 4 1/4" tall to top of finial x 3" handle to handle x 2". 3.53 Troy Ounces / 109.8 Grams.
