Description

A superb quality pair of opera glasses made from polished brass and Mother of Pearl shell with it's iridescent qualities.
The polished brass eyes pieces are cast with the name of the well renowned maker, Iris of Paris. The underside has the additional "I" mark.
In full working order, they come complete with their original leather case with fuchsia coloured silk lining.
Dating to around 1900, they remain in superb condition, the case measuring 4 1/4" x 2" x 2 3/4" tall.
