A stunning antique English Christening / child's mug perfect for an heirloom gift for the newest addition to your family.A good gauge silver, the mug weighs 6.2 Troy Ounces / 192.9 Grams. The mug has a beautiful all-over repousse and hand-chased decoration with a large vacant cartouche. The interior is lavishly gilded. There is a full English hallmark for London 1896 and the makers mark for one of the finest silversmith's, Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co: William Gibson & John Lawrence. The underside also signed for the famous London retailer.
Excellent condition measuring 4" wide x 2 3/4" x 3 5/8" tall.
