Description
A charming little Edwardian ring box made from English sterling silver with a hammered decoration to the top of the lid surrounding a vacant circular cartouche.The box stands on four lovely legs. The underside of the box is where the full English hallmark can be found for Birmingham 1905 together with the maker's initials for the quality silversmith, Cornelius Desormeaux Saunders & James Francis Hollings - Frank- Shepherd.
The hinged lid fits well and once opened reveals the fitted interior for a single special ring.
Excellent condition with the lid measuring 1 1/2" square and the footprint measuring 1 5/8" square x 1 1/4" tall.
