Description

A handsome pair of British issued First World War leather and polished brass binoculars together with an excellent leather case.
Made by Heath and Co. of London and signed with the trade name they used "Hezzanith"; the case is signed T. French and Sons Ltd., London, 1918, the leather is also impressed with the military crows foot.
The brass has been meticulously polished and with various marks including S-4 / 20652 and the military crows foot. They are fitted with shades to minimise glare in bright sunshine.
The leather case is in great polished antique condition.
Excellent condition, the binoculars measuring 5" x 2 3/8" x 5 1/2" expanding to 7" while sunshades are in operation. The case measuring 5 3/4" x 3 1/2" x 7 1/2".
