Description

A good large sized photograph frame in a very simple elegant design.
The back is made from solid English Oak and is the most favoured type of backing incorporating a folding easel stand allowing both a portrait or landscape configuration.
The silver has a full English hallmark for the highly collectible Chester assay office, the date letter is rubbed, but this frame would date from 1900 to 1920. The maker's initials C.C are also present.
9 1/4" x 7 1/4" with the glazed aperture measuring 8" x 6".
