Description

A magnificent set of three late Victorian coloured glass decanters, all with polished pontil marks on the underside showing that they were individually hand blown; one in golden yellow, one in Amethyst and one in cobalt blue.
Each is topped with a gilded collar and corked top, decorated with grapes and vine leaves.
The stand is made from silverplate with the makers mark stamped to the top, I am unable to identify the maker. The handle is rather grand with a cast tied tassel incorporated. The stand stands on three cast and reticulated feet with the edges of stand decorated with hand chased cast decoration.
Dating to the late Victorian era, around 1880 and remaining in excellent condition. The stand is measuring 10" x 10" and 16" tall to the top of the handle. Each bottle has a diameter measuring 3" x 14" tall to top of stoppers.
