Description

A highly sought-after and scarce little money box or bank in silver plate with a fabulous antique patina.
The box was made in the from of a Hare or Rabbit with a heart shaped lock to the front (these don't actually lock), the lock opens and snaps back to close. This then allows the hinged panel on the underside to be opened to retrieve the savings.
English in origin and late Victorian / Edwardian in era c.1900. Excellent condition measuring 4 1/4" x 1 3/4" x 3 3/4" tall.
