Description

A fabulous antique figural letter opener, the blade carved from Fruitwood and the terminal made from antique English sterling silver.
The handle is in the form of an Owl, both back and front, sporting two glass eyes each side. The silver is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1907, Edwardian in era. The makers mark is also present for the silversmith, Crisford and Norris.
Excellent condition measuring 10 1/2" in length x 1 " wide x 7/8" thick.
