Description
A wonderful late Victorian single sovereign case made from English sterling silver fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1901. The makers initials A W are also present, I believe for A Wilcox.
The case is beautifully engraved and the front has a vacant circular cartouche. The little button below the ring is pressed to release the lid, the interior with the sprung coin holder is in pristine condition.
Excellent condition measuring 2" max x 1 3/8" x 5/8".
