antique english brass and sterling silver pocket watch compass c1890

Description

A most unusual pocket compass created in the form of a pocket watch, the case being made from polished brass and the ring being made from English sterling silver.
I have tried to identify the hallmark but is is hard to read, I would expect this to date to the late Victorian era.
Excellent working condition measuring 3 1/8" x 2 1/8" x 3/4".
