Description
A wonderful novelty Art Deco cocktail shaker in the form of a bomb, dating to c.1930.Made from English silver plate (EPNS - Electro-Plated Nickel Silver) and fully marked on the underside Yeoman Plate and "Made In England". Yeoman (Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire) was established in 1897 and today is a division of Douglas Pell Silverware (founded in 1972).
It is the silver giftware supplier to Harrods and other prestigious names world-wide, including Asprey & Garrard, Royal Palaces, Liberty, Fortnum & Mason, Goldsmiths.
Excellent condition (minor wear commensurate with age) measuring 3 3/4" in diameter x 9" tall.
