Description
A fine early Victorian circular tray or salver made from silver plate with full marks on the underside for Henry Wilkinson and Co. together with their crossed keys mark.
It is also lucky enough to have an English design registration diamond shaped lozenge (reserved for finer examples) which allows us to date it accurately to March 1855, a good early example.
Standing on four elegant legs, the shaped side of the tray is pierced or reticulated with an unusual shaped border. Excellent condition measuring 141/2" in diameter x 2" tall.
