Description
An unusual vintage magnifying glass standing on a hefty iron foot mounted with the makers signature for C. Baker, London, traded at 244 High Holborn, London (1910-1947).The brass reticulated arm is also marked W.S.M. PIRE and a Patent number.
Dating to c.1930, it remains in excellent condition. The base has a diameter measuring 3 3/4" and standing 13 1/4" tall (max) with the magnifier having a diameter measuring 3".
