Description

This is magnificent late Art Deco photograph frame, a fabulous strong shape with simple, elegant all-over engine turned decoration.
The backing is made from Mahogany incorporating a folding easel stand.
The silver is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1949 together with the makers mark for Alexander Clarke, also stamped " The Alex Clarke Co. Ltd., London" and "Made In England".
Lovely quality and condition in excellent condition. Standing 12" tall x 9 7/8" wide at the base narrowing to 8 7/8" wide at the top, The glazed aperture measures 10" x 8".
