A charming and scarce inkwell made from polished English brass featuring a beautifully cast Hare's head. At first I thought he sported glass eyes but taking a closer look, they look to be a polished stone carved to create a realistic eye. The hinged lid lifts to reveal a removable glass ink chamber. The front has two simple pen rests which I have shown with a dip pen (not included). Excellent condition with minor wear commensurate with age; 4" in diameter x 4 1/2" tall. Victorian in era, dating to c.1880. Item ID: 41012 FREE Worldwide Registered Airmail Directly From London, England FREE Worldwide Shipping Directly From London, England Internal Ref: 41012
