Description

A beautiful and scarcely found Victorian sterling silver soap box, the ultimate way to travel!
Made from English sterling silver, the box is signed (rubbed) by the silversmith, the top-notch William Comyns. The silver is fully hallmarked for London 1889 and is also lucky enough to bear the Queen Victoria's head duty mark.
The box is beautifully decorated with all-over repousse work with a central vacant cartouche to either side including a bird in flight and a sitting bird. The box clips together firmly.
3 3/8" x 2 3/8" x 1 1/2" tall. 2.13 Troy Ounces / 66.2 Grams.
