Description

A very fine and scarce large English Bulldog, cast in Bronze and beautifully executed.
This handsome hound is cast with a collar and a large padlock shaped tag to the front which is indeed a photograph frame with hinged cover.
The lid lifts to reveal a large cut crystal lidded inkwell, amazingly without damage.
About as good as they get and in superb condition with a fabulous natural patina. 6" tall x 4 3/4" wide x 5 1/2" deep. Late Victorian in era, dating to c.1890.
