Description

A wonderful set of oval shaped napkin rings, made from solid English sterling silver. Each is fully hallmarked for London 1888, a true Victorian set.
The marks incorporate the highly sought-after Queen Victoria's head duty mark and the makers mark for the top-notch silversmith, William Hutton and Sons - Edward Hutton.
The napkin rings are numbered 1 to 6, so each guest would know which napkin belonged to them if left between courses. They are beautifully engraved with a very English and very Victorian design, featuring a variety of Ferns.
They sit within their original presentation case lined in a rich velvet and silk lining. Excellent condition, each napkin ring measures 2" x 1 1/2" x 1 1/8" thick. A combined weight of 169.4 Grams / 5.45 Troy Ounces. The case measures 7 7/8" x 4 1/2" x 2 1/4" tall.
