Description

A fabulous and grand desk-top paper knife or page turner; the blade made from period polished Ivory.
The handle is figured in the form of a lizard, made from gilded brass with superb detail and a good natural antique patina. The lizard retains his two green glass eyes.
Although I have had smaller pieces with this Lizard model, I have never seen such a large grand piece.
Victorian in era and dating to c.1890 it remains in superb condition measuring 15 1/2" in length x 3 1/8" x 1 1/2" .
