A charming and very unusual novelty postage stamp box in the form of a Chick, cast in Bronze and cold painted.
The hinged lid lifts to reveal a single postage stamp compartment with a sloped interior to easily slide out the stamps, a little catch keeps the box shut.
The underside is where the mark can be found for Franz Bergman.
A charming and rare example in excellent condition with wear commensurate with age. 2 3/4" x 2" x 2" tall.
