Description
A really fabulous example of these highly sought-after and hard to find Binoculars / Field Glasses with three lenses changed by the wheel at the side and indicated across the bridge labelled " Theatre ", " Field " and " Marine ". This wheel bears the Napoleonic Bee signature of LeMaire Paris.They are beautifully clad in leather and have been painstakingly professionally polished to create a great looking instrument, all in excellent working condition. They come with a leather case with wear but original and again, the clasp embossed with the Bee signature for LeMaire. 4 1/2" wide x 1 7/8" x 3 1/4" extending to 4 1/4"; the case measuring 5" x 2 1/4" x 3 3/4".
