A stunning antique French gilded bronze / Ormolu photograph or picture frame just back from being professionally restored to it's former glory, lavishly covered gold.
The floating glass front protects the grey/blue silk taffeta and the adorable gilded bronze mounts, two Cherubs or Putti figures to the top supporting floral and foliate garlands; the bottom corners have mounts of musical Cherubs sitting upon classical pillars.
The circular aperture measures 3 3/4" in diameter surrounded by a decorative gilt border.
Dating to c.1900 and in superb condition. 8 3/4" tall x 7 1/4" wide x 3/4" deep.
