Description
A truly stylish vintage modernist two-piece wine cooler dating to c.1950.Made from silver plate and fully marked on the underside for "Gelb, France". The bucket can be filled with ice and water to chill white wine in the inner sleeve. It isn't wide enough to chill a normal Champagne bottle but the inner sleeve can be removed for this purpose using it filled with ice as a more traditional Champagne cooler.
Excellent condition spanning 8 3/4" x 6 3/4" x 9 1/4" with the inner sleeve having an aperture measuring approximately 3 1/"" in diameter.
