Description
A grand large antique Ormolu photograph or picture frame, the bronze smothered in gold, beautifully restored to it's former glory and ready to enjoy for the next 100 years and beyond.The glazed front protects the taupe coloured silk taffeta decorated with a variety of gilded bronze mounts including little cherubs and baskets of flowers. The picture aperture is surrounded with gold border ready to accept a picture measuring 8 3/4" x 6 1/2".
The frame is crowned with a decadent large bow to the top. The frame is an impressive size measuring 14 1/4" tall x 10 3/4" x 1" deep.
Superb condition dating to c.1900.
