Description
A fabulous and rare find, the dividers of this Victorian toast rack are made up by a series of Rifles each cast with the number 1871, I think this is the model number.
The base of the toast rack is lucky enough to be struck with an English design registration lozenge which allows us to date the design of this item to 7th May 1880. The makers mark is also present, I think for Thomas Champion and Sons of Sheffield.
A beautifully made and highly collectable piece in excellent condition measuring 6 1/4" x 3"x 5 3/4" tall to top of handle.
