Description

A wonderful example of an English dog collar dating to around 1860, Victorian in era. The condition is exquisite and has it's leather lining intact which is usually perished in collar of this age.
The collar is marked "White Metal" and is decorated with shiny domed studs with a good solid ring which was for the leash. It has a highly desirable engraving " E Stannard / Brooklyn Villa / Broadstairs ".
The collar comes complete with a wonderful Victorian brass padlock and key, in working order.
Measuring between 14" - 18" in diameter x 1 1/2" thick.
