Description
A stunning and highly decorative three piece Victorian tea set dating to around 1860 by the famous Atkin Brothers.The set is beautifully embossed and finished with hand engraving. Both sides of each piece has a large repousse cartouche which has not been engraved and could be personalized if desired.
The handle to the pot as well as the finial are made from Ebony wood, all pieces stand on very stylish feet. The interior of the sugar and milk jug are gilded to the interior.
A really stylish and showy set in excellent condition. The teapot measures 11" from spout to handle x 5 1/4" wide x 5 1/2" tall to top of finial; the sugar measures 7 1/4" handle to handle x 4 1/4" deep x 4" tall; the milk pitcher or creamer measures 5 1/2" x 3 1/4" x 3 3/4" tall.
