Description

A very stylish vintage silver plated champagne bucket or wine cooler very much in the manner of Luc Lanel. Luc Lanel designed a range called Ondulations made by Maison Christofle in Paris for use on the S.S. Normandie, the luxury line of the era.
This design became iconic and was then replicated by British silversmith's such as Elkington and Barker Brothers with slight differences.
The underside is fully marked by the well renowned silversmith, Barker Brothers of Birmingham.
Usual usage wear on the inside, in excellent condition dating to the 1930's.
10 1/2" wide handle to handle x 8" x 8" tall.
