A superb and very stylish Art Deco silver plated bowl or dish, perfect for a variety of uses, whether it be bread, fruit or simply to enjoy; a truly Iconic style.
The underside is signed by the famous French silversmith's, Apollo.
Apollo, Societe De Coutellerie et D'orfevrerie, was a French company of cutlery and orfevrerie, established in 1796, with the known address in 31 Rue Pastourelle, Paris.
Dating to the 1930's, a good solid piece with weight, it remains in excellent condition with minor wear commensurate with age. 14 1/2" handle to handle x 8 3/4" x 1 3/4".
