Always highly sought after and scarce to find, this is a wonderful tray converting from a glass covered Mahogany tray to a classic clean glass tray.
It stands on four attractive bracket feet and next to each foot is a clip which are pulled out to release the base panels; there is the original Mahogany panel and glass panel which sits on top; the wooden panel can then be removed to create a clean fresh look, perfect for serving drinks, canapes or deserts; a great versatile and highly sought-after tray.
The galleried tray has two elegant carrying handles and the underside is where the mark for the top-notch "Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co. 112 Regent St. W".
Excellent condition with light wear commensurate with age. The tray spans 22 1/2" handle to handle; excluding the handles it measures 20" x 13 1/2". Approximately 3 1/4" tall to top of handles.
