A very smart antique English bottle holder or sleeve. The underside is fully marked by the well renowned maker, Roberts and Belk of Sheffield under the trade mark "Romney Plate".
This example is lucky enough to have an English design registration number which allows us to date it accurately to the year 1912.
Excellent condition spanning 7" handle to handle x 5 1/2" x 7 1/4" tall.
