Description

A wonderful large picture frame made from English sterling silver with a solid Oak backing and easel stand.
The silver is fully hallmarked for the highly sought-after Chester assay office and the year 1901, very late Victorian / early Edwardian. The makers mark is also present for the well renowned silversmith, William Neale.
The aperture is lucky enough to have retained it's original heavy bevelled glass ready to accept a photo measuring 8" x 6".
Excellent condition the overall size of the frame measures 11" x 8 7/8" x 1" thick.
