Description

A handsome late Victorian biscuit box or barrel by the well renowned silversmith, John Grinsell & Co. of Sheffield.
The box is made from solid English Oak and the fittings from silver plate and the interior retains the original ceramic liner. The silver plated fittings are fully marked with the cupid within a shield.
Late Victorian in era, it remains in excellent condition with a max. diameter measuring 6" x 6 3/4" tall to top of lid finial.
