Description

A handsome bronze dore / Ormolu photograph frame with an arched top and a central oval aperture behind the glass.
The taupe coloured taffeta is mounted with gilded bronze motifs and to the top there is a mount on top of the glass with a central Cherub or Putti figure with swags either side.
The back has been professionally re-finished and incorporates a folding easel stand.
Dating to c.1900, it remains in excellent condition with an overall measurement 9" tall x 6 5/8"; the oval aperture measuring 4 5/8" x 3 1/4".
