Description
A truly stunning Art Deco glass and sterling silver vanity jar or box, the top decorated with a lovely blue guilloche enamel with a bright patina showcasing the highly decorative Art Deco design below.The glass is exquisite with fine channel cutting to the bottom portion of the jar and the back and front wheel engraved with a floral wreath joined with ribbon and bow garlands around the sides; quite exquisite.
The silver is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1933 together with the maker's mark for Alexander Clark & Co. Ltd.
Excellent condition measuring 2 3/8" x 1 5/8" x 3 1/2" tall.
