Description

A beautiful pair of French Opera glasses made from polished brass and Mother of Pearl or Nacre shell.
The Mother of Pearl is some of the whitest I have seen, a beautiful silver colour with fine iridescent qualities.
They sport an extending lorgnette handle and come with a (newer) velvet pouch to protect them.
They are unmarked but undoubtedly one of the nicest pairs I have had. Excellent working order dating to c.1900.
While folded, they measure 5 1/4" x 2" x 2".
