Description
It's hard enough to find these menu / recipe cocktail shakers but to find one in solid Italian silver (800) is even rarer.It was in a worn, sad condition when we discovered it but having had a lot of love in our silversmith's workshop, it has been restored to it's former glory, the insert, engraved with the recipe ingredients has been washed in gold, bringing it back to life.
The arrow on the outer sleeve is pointed to the desired cocktail and the ingredients are revealed in each of the windows.
All pieces are stamped 800 meaning the purity of the silver is 800 parts silver out of 1000, the stamp indicating where it was made is hard to decipher but I would suspect it was made and stamped in Milan.
Excellent condition measuring 3 1/4" in diameter and standing 9 1/2" tall. It weighs 524 Grams / 16.83 Troy Ounces.
