Always highly sought-after, this is a lovely example of an inkwell with the pocket watch lid. Made from sterling silver, the inkwell is hallmarked for London 1907, Edwardian in era. The makers initials are also present for top-notch silversmith and one of my favourite's, William Comyns.
The watch is the original and has been overhauled and cleaned by our clock repairer, and in perfect working condition.
There is a glass ink chamber, removable for easy cleaning. A wonderful desk accessory for the discerning. Excellent condition, measuring 4 1/2" in diameter and 2 1/4" tall with lid shut.
