A very stylish cocktail tray made in silver plate by the creme de la creme of luxury silversmith's / retailers, Asprey of Bond Street, London.
Just back from our silversmith's workshop, it has been professionally cleaned and polished restoring it to it's former glory, dating to Art Deco era, c.1940.
The underside is fully marked by Asprey London / Made In England. Excellent condition with minor wear commensurate with age. 17" x 8.23" x 1".
Founded in 1781 by William Asprey, was originally based in Mitcham, Surrey until the company moved into central London premises. From there, Asprey advertised ‘articles of exclusive design and high quality', whether for personal adornment or personal accompaniment and to endow with richness and beauty the table and homes of people of refinement and discernment.
