Description
A late Victorian or early Edwardian postage stamp box made from Fruit Wood with a wonderful large conch shell inlaid to the lid.
Once the hinged lid is opened, the four postage stamp compartments are revealed with their sloped interior to make it easier to slide postage stamps out. The interior of the lid retains it's Burgundy velvet lining.
Excellent condition, measuring 3 1/2" wide x 2 1/2" deep x 1 1/8" tall.
