Description

A splendid pair of late Victorian Opera / Theatre glasses professionally re-polished to gleam, making them as good as they would have looked over 100 years ago. Clearly made for a German retailer / opticians, both eye pieces signed "Carl Neithold, Frankfurt".
This is a pair with a telescopic lorgnette handle. All is wrapped in wonderful Mother of Pearl or Nacre shell with it's iridescent qualities.
Fully working with good optics in superb condition. Folded up they measure 1/2" x 2 1/4" x 2"; they come with a fabric pouch (modern),
