A handsome large sized circular picture frame made from bronze and smothered in gold, beautifully cleaned and restored to it's former glory dating to c.1900.
These frames with gilded bronze Napoleonic bees are always highly sought-after and particularly hard to come by.
The top of the frame is crowned with a lavish decorative mount.
The frame stands on it's folding easel which also incorporates a ring for wall hanging if desired.
Excellent condition measuring 7" x 8" tall x 1" thick; the photo aperture measures 3 3/4" in diameter.
