Description
A truly stunning pair of Art Deco figures made from bronzed metal and signed by the sculptor, "J Salvado, France".Both beautifully executed, I am unsure if these were originally made as bookends but with careful navigation of the limbs, they do make a splendid pair of bookends.
Each sits on the original onyx / marble bases both in fabulous condition with very minor wear.
One of the figures has a hold to the back of the head, I suspect something as attached here originally.
Quite wonderful and elegant in excellent vintage condition. 11" high x 4" deep x 6" wide and 11 1/3" high x 5" deep x 7" wide.
