Description

A fabulous vintage Art Deco pill box, French in origin and made from solid silver bearing the Boars head mark (950).
It is perfect for either a lady or gentleman with such an elegant engine-turned / guilloche engraved decoration with stripes across the top with a central circular vacant cartouche.
The hinge is in full working order and once opened reveals a lavishly gilded interior in excellent, clean condition ready for use.
Dating to c.1930, it remains in excellent condition with minor wear commensurate to age.
A good large and heavy example measuring 2 1/4" in diameter x 1/2" thick.
