A fabulous hand-carved wooden postage stamp box from the Black Forest region and dating to around 1900.
The sides are carved but the star of the show is the central carved Owl to the lid surrounded by Oak leaves, all beautifully executed.
Excellent condition measuring 3 1/2" x 1 7/8" x 3/4" tall.
